Application Process
Timeline: The Bank will decide within 15 working days of receiving a complete application.
Role of Guardian: The parent(s) or guardian will be treated as a co-applicant and act as the primary debtor.
Loan Details
Quantum of Loan: Up to ₹10.00 lakhs for studies in India and ₹20.00 lakhs for studies abroad. The minimum loan amount is ₹50,000. Higher amounts may be considered on a case-to-case basis.
Margin: No margin for loans up to ₹4 lakhs. For loans above ₹4 lakhs, a 5% margin for studies in India and 15% for studies abroad.
Security Requirements
Security: Third-party guarantee and/or collateral security may be required.
- Additional Security: Assignment of an LIC policy and future income to meet the loan obligations.
Disbursement
- The loan will be disbursed in full or installments per the required funds and fee schedule. Disbursements will be made directly to the educational institution or vendor.
